Made To Fish Ministries: Pastor Doug started an evangelistic ministry called Made To Fish (madetofish.com) in 2007. The purpose of Made To Fish is to proclaim the gospel to a lost and dying world, to teach the foundation of our faith that God is Creator of all things and that He made everything in six literal days like the Bible says, to train up workers to be a witness of Jesus Christ, to make disciples, to equip the church, but most of all, to glorify the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
Made To Fish is based on Genesis 1:1 and Mark 1:14-16. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." -Gen. 1:1. "Jesus came saying, Repent and believe in the gospel....Walking by the sea....Jesus said to them, Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men. They immediately left their nets and followed Him." -Mark 1:14-16.
Made To Fish involves going out a few times each month to open air preach on the streets, witness to people one on one or in small groups, or pass out gospel tracts. Sometimes these events are planned, other times they are unplanned as God leads. Many times Pastor Doug will witness to people through church ministries, like funerals, weddings, counseling sessions, hospital visits, church services, etc.
Made To Fish would not be possible without the support of Pastor Doug's wife and church. Thanks for your love and support!
Cheryl is our church janitor, but she has also painted our children's room, adult classroom, teen classroom, and she has painted a stain glass window in the sanctuary. Thank you Cheryl for your hard work!
